Bio

Lisa Glow became the CEO for Central Arizona Shelter Services in 2017, becoming the third CEO in the organization’s 38-year history. Lisa is a graduate of the James E. Rogers College of Law at the University of Arizona. Early in her career Lisa practiced law with two international law firms; prosecuted antitrust cases as an Assistant Attorney General; and was a member of former Arizona Governor Janet Napolitano’s Executive Staff where she worked on complex social policy issues. Lisa has led CASS in rapid growth and expanded the agency with three new locations beyond the existing 600-bed adult and 150-bed family shelters, including: a navigation center in Glendale; a hotel shelter with 170 beds for seniors to open in 2023; and a 54-bed transitional housing program for people with a serious mental illness that will open in 2024. Lisa leads with compassion and says homelessness is by far the most complex work she has encountered in her career, as well as the most rewarding.
