Jessie Butts is the Program Director for Homeless and Emergency Services at Catholic Charities of Onondaga County, located in Central New York. Catholic Charities mission is to promote human development, collaboration, and assist in the elimination of poverty and injustice through 3 main services, Crisis Response, Stability Services, and Building Capacity. She has worked with the homeless population/shelter services for over 10 years in roles ranging from a front line Shelter Aide/Shift Leader, Crisis/Relocation Caseworker, Relocation/Data Coordinator, Manager, and Director. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services Management, is the current Chair of the Chronic Task Force for the NY-505 CoC, and has been an active board member for the non-profit A Tiny Home for Good.
