Yvette Perrantes- Duwamish/Suquamish of Washington State, homeless Response Team Program Manager Yvette has spent the last 20 years learning the indigenous historical knowledge of Seattle; Yvette is reclaiming the traditional knowledge and history of the Puget and Coast Salish people by learning the songs, stories, language, and teaching of her ancestors.  Yvette is committed to serving the community by addressing the homelessness crisis within Seattle and focusing on housing security in her current role both as Mother Nation the Homeless Response Team Program Manager and her seat as a Duwamish Council Woman. Yvette’s vision is to help create sustainable housing for our unsheltered relatives by utilizing her educational background in clean energy.
