For more than 20 years, Sarah Kahn has been working with the nonprofit, public, and private sectors to combat homelessness by implementing solution-focused interventions, informing public policy, and mobilizing systems change. Prior to joining Housing Forward, Sarah led the Homelessness Assistance Practice for The Cloudburst Group, a contractor for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. In this role, Sarah led a team of HUD technical assistance providers to catalyze progress on preventing and ending homelessness through optimizing public and private resources and accelerating housing placements. Sarah has been a senior executive for many years, working alongside communities in the US and internationally to evaluate government-funded programs, implement best practices, and reform homeless response systems. She began her career working in Washington DC with the National Alliance to End Homelessness, directing advocacy and policy initiatives.
