As a Resident of DISH permanent supportive housing, I have been an OD Prevention Specialist and Peer Responder for about 1.5 years. In this job as a peer responder, I am a community leader in providing harm reduction interventions for my fellow residents and neighbors. Along with the DISH and NHRC Dope Project collaboration, the Peer Responder program provides Narcan and Narcan training and one-one outreach for anyone with self-identifying needs. I am a very active community member and love creating art and building relationships that keep my community strong and peaceful.
